Precious Metal Clay
Precious Metal Clay (PMC) is a fabulous, almost magical product. Like the Grimm's fairy tale character, Rumpelstiltskin who turned straw into gold, you can model this clay and create a fine silver jewelry piece.
PMC is organic clay with silver particals embedded in it. It can be shaped and molded similarly to modeling clay. When fired by butane torch or in a kiln, the clay burns away and the object that is left is .999 pure silver.
PMC is available in lump, paste, sheet and syringe. Each may be used alone or together to create beautiful jewelry pieces.
Beadazzling holds classes in PMC. We will carry tools and accessories. We currently can torch fire your pieces for a $2.00 fee. We hope to add the ability to kiln fire pieces in the future.
